What a successful day at the State House!
We had the terrific opportunity to meet with members of many committees, educate them on our profession and how we are affected by the motions that are either passed or rejected by them.
Governor Douglas met with us to learn more about occupational therapy in Vermont.
Many representatives were interested in hearing of our shortages in numbers, the great number of vacant positions and the absence of an academic program in Vermont to assist in gaining and sustaining our workforce numbers.
